About James B. Harris, MD, FACS

Dr. Harris has been part of Western Surgical since 2000. His outstanding training in general and oncologic surgery as well as his experienced approach to patient care enable him to provide excellent surgical care to cancer patients of Reno. He teaches future physicians and surgeons as the co-chair and clerkship director of the University of Nevada School of Medicine surgery clerkship. He is also the medical director for the Renown Institute for Cancer, and is currently the state chair and national Surveyor for the Commission on Cancer through the American College of Surgeons.
