About Scott M. Cinelli, DO, FACS

Scott M Cinelli, D.O., F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) is a native of New York. He graduated Cum Laude from Siena College, and is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed General Surgery Residency at Albany Medical Center and at the Stamford Hospital program of the Columbia University School of Medicine before completing fellowships in Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery at the University of Nevada School of Medicine’s Las Vegas campus.

Dr. Cinelli’s interests include hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, and abdominal wall closure techniques. Dr. Cinelli has a special interest in traumatic brain injury and many other aspects of emergency general surgery.

Dr. Cinelli is well regarded for his work in surgical education and training program development. He is certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Cinelli is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Cinelli is a member of the Renown Regional Medical Center’s Trauma and Critical Care panels.

In his spare time, Dr. Cinelli enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with his wife and young child.
