Western Surgical Group was formed in 1996 by the joining of four solo surgical practices. Since then the group has expanded to twelve surgeons, two office locations and a staff of over 50.

We work vigorously to keep our education level current, and embrace leading edge procedures that new technological breakthroughs and science uncover.
The surgeons of Western Surgical Group have always provided their patients with personalized surgical care. The goal of the group is to continue to provide personalized surgical care in a broad spectrum of surgical specialties. These include surgery of the breast, lung, colon & rectum, vascular surgical services including angiography and endovascular surgery. All forms of abdominal surgery and surgery of the endocrine system. We provide care of the thoracic surgical patient, including minimally invasive and thoracoscopic surgery. Western Surgical Group has the only pediatric surgeon in Northern Nevada, as well as surgeons who specialize in bariatric surgery.
The group dedicates a very strong commitment to the treatment of the traumatized patient. Three of our physicians currently serve on the Trauma Panel at Renown Regional Medical Center.
